Visitors to Round 3 of the Cool FAB Racing British Minibikes Championship at Rowrah at the end of May can look forward to another exciting weekend of racing with the competition between riders really starting to hot up!
In the MiniGP 70, after Round 2 at Red Lodge Josh Whatley and Elliot Pinson were almost neck and neck in the overall race results with 65 points to 63 and in the AC40 Rookies Ben Smith, Aleksander Merchant and Cameron Soole are all in contention for the top spot.
Once again we’ll have some special guests at the track to give our riders some tips and advice. Cool FAB Racing ambassadors and reigning British sidecar champions Ricky Stevens and Ryan Charlwood will be heading up to Rowrah fresh from their championship race at Brands Hatch.
If you enjoyed the hospitality provided by the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team during the previous rounds, then you’ll be pleased to hear we’ve got another ladies wine afternoon planned on Saturday 27th May. For information on this and the rest of the weekend don’t forget to download the Race Schedule for Round 3
Entries for Rowrah are open and we’d advise anyone who wants to compete, to register sooner rather than later as we’ll have to close any classes that reach a maximum grid size.
The entry fee for Saturday & Sunday’s event is £90 (£100 for sidecar entries). Extra classes cost £30. The optional pre-event Friday practice from 9.30am until 4pm will be run by the circuit and will cost £40 and be payable on the day by cash (card payments can’t be processed at the meeting unfortunately).
Downforce Radio will also be commentating on the action during Round 3, so make sure you tune in!
