There’s just over a week to go until our final round at Mallory Park in Leicestershire from 28th to 30th October, and what a fantastic end to the season it promises to be!
Although a couple of classes have already been decided, there’s still everything to race for as many are still in close contention for the title spot – and of course there’s still second and third places to be decided in all classes.
Owing to noise restrictions no racing is allowed to take place on the Saturday, but instead we have arranged a day of fun activities including family pushbike races on the track, a T-shirt design competition and a Halloween-themed fancy dress competition!
Swedish British Superbike star Filip Backlund will also be sharing his experiences of being a professional motorcycle racer while Motorsport Radio commentators Tom and Lester will be giving the kids some media training and doing mock interviews.
Because of the noise restriction, practice, qualifying and four races will take place on Friday 28th October. For further information please download the race-schedule-for-round-8.
For those of you who are coming along, because we’re running to such a tight timetable, you must register before Thursday 27th October. Your name will be checked as you enter the circuit against a list of competitors as required by the circuit owners.
On Thursday, entry will be from 1pm until 10.30pm. If you arrive on Friday, you will need to arrive between 6.30am and 9am, as once the circuit is ‘live’ it is not possible to access the paddock with a vehicle. As usual, please leave your four-legged friends at home as pets are not allowed on site.
The entry fee for round eight at Mallory Park is £90 (£100 for sidecar entries). Extra classes cost £30.
We look forward to seeing you there!
