It was a day to remember for the minibike riders and their families who came to the season finale of the MCE British Superbike Championship with us on Saturday (15th October).

Johnny Garness (8), Mason Foster (6), Charlie Tilley (8), Owen Mellor (12), Evan Belford (9), Ross Maguire (11), Corey Stainer (9) and Scott Ogden (13) all got to stand on the podium at Brands Hatch to collect their trophies from the last round of the championship at Red Lodge.

After the presentations the winners were accompanied on the podium by all of the other Cool FAB Racing riders and their siblings who’d also made the journey to the famous Kent circuit.

The youngsters also got the opportunity to meet the riders from the BSB teams they’ll be competing for in the Cool FAB Racing British Minibike Championship next year and take part in the pit walk on Sunday morning.

MD of Cool Motor Racing Crispin Vitoria said it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“Thanks to our status as an Official BSB Partner Series our minibike riders get unrivalled access to many of the BSB riders and the teams,” explained Crispin.

“They also get an insight into some of the more enjoyable aspects of being a professional motorcycle racer such as signing autographs and standing on the podium which is not something many people get to experience in their lifetime!

“We are extremely grateful to MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship Series Director Stuart Higgs and his team as well as the eight superbike teams in our championship, for being so supportive and allowing us to do this. We’re looking forward to continuing to work closely with them to promote the sport in 2017.”
