Cool FAB Racing will return to Red Lodge on Friday 7th October for the penultimate round of the 2016 championship!
As well as some adrenaline-fuelled action on the track, seven of eight BSB teams who have agreed to set up and run junior teams to compete in the championship next year will be taking part in a big reveal!
Tyco BMW, Quattro Plant Kawasaki, Anvil Hire TAG Yamaha, Buildbase BMW, ePayMe Yamaha, Team WD-40 and Moto Rapido Ducati will all be unveiling their new branded minibikes ahead of the 2017 season.
The most recent addition Halsall Racing, sponsored by Movuno.com, announced their involvement at Round 10 of the MCE BSB championship at Donington Park in September and will unveil their bike at later date.
Visitors to round 7 at Red Lodge (7th to 9th October) will also get to meet special guest British Supersport rider Andy Reid.
Crispin Vitoria, Managing Director of Cool Motor Racing, which runs the series, said it’s going to be an exciting weekend: “We’ve got so much happening at Red Lodge – it’s going to be one of the biggest meetings of the year! Since we became an Official BSB Partner Series in July, the championship has really stepped up a gear and we’ve now got the support of some of the biggest names in the world of British Superbikes who are all looking forward to seeing their teams race next year.
“We can’t wait to see all of the branded minibikes together for the first time and of course seeing all of our riders back in action after a seven-week break. As we go into the final rounds the competition is starting to get tough with just a few points separating the riders at the top of the tables.”
In the MiniGP 70 there are just 13 points between first-placed Franco Bourne, aged 12 from Crook, County Durham, and 13-year-old Blake Ansell from Gloucestershire who is currently second in the championship.
In the MiniGP 50 third-placed Scott Ogden, aged 12 from Doncaster, is just three points behind second-placed Calum Beach (10) from Abergele in Wales.
In the ever-popular Pit Bike Open, former Cool FAB Racing champion and current 2016 HEL Performance British Motostar Champion 15-year-old Charlie Nesbitt from Swindon is leading the championship, closely followed by TJ Toms from Bridgwater, also 15, who is just 27 points behind.
